Norfolk status
Well distributed throughout much of Norfolk.

The males fly from July to September and have dark brown/orange wings with a large white spot on the forewing.
Female is almost wingless and therefore remains on the cocoon from which she emerged.

Recorded in 67 (91%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1834.
Last Recorded in 2023.
